You know what it's like: a pleasant 20°C in the valley. We're off to the mountain passes. More than 2000 metres in altitude. Bend after bend. You screw the machine upwards. Bend. Incline. The vegetation becomes sparser, the air cooler. Now to interrupt the run to the summit to put on your warm gloves? Now that your own pace is pulling you upwards?

In Detail
Heated grips have long enjoyed great popularity among real motorcyclists. But there are also disadvantages: The external cables can break due to fatigue and, most importantly, the black heaters are recognizable as such. Who wants to see that on their power bike, cruiser or sports bike? Exactly. How uncool. The manufacturer Coolride takes a different approach. Here, the handlebar ends are heated by internal heating cartridges. The massive heaters, each with 26 watts, are pushed into the handlebar ends and glued in place. The cables run invisibly in the handlebars.
Operation and display of the handlebar heating systems Comfort and Comfort Alpin are clear and puristic: 1 fingertip starts the system and changes the heating effect. The LED integrated into the button, which is only 15mm in size, shows the power level. The handlebar-mounted button blends harmoniously into the cockpits of modern motorcycles. The variable preheating phase reaches a comfortable temperature as quickly as possible. Whether after a short stop or a cold winter night: Always exactly as long as necessary. The memory function is also clever: it stores the power level set when the motorcycle is parked. On the next ride, this is recalled after the preheating phase. All this is provided by the power controller SPC-5 included in the set, while its big brother, the power controller SPC-5TC, also compensates for fluctuations in the outside temperature. All electronic parts are of course waterproof according to IP67.
For purists or beginners, the grip heater is available with a purely electric 2-stage switch under the name grip heating system standard.
Grip heaters from Coolride have a 5-year warranty and are available from selected motorcycle dealers or directly from the Onlineshop.
Coolride has suitable heaters for almost every motorcycle, be it an Aprilia, Benelli, Beta, BMW, Buell, Daelim, Derby, Ducati, EBR, GasGas, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husaberg, Husqvarna, Irbit, Kawasaki, Kreidler, KTM, Moto-Guzzi, MV Agusta, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa, Victory, Yamaha oder Zero.
