Coolride is beeing closed -

Dear Coolride fans, customers and partners,

Unfortunately, we must inform you that Coolride GmbH is in the process of beeing closed. Specifically, this means that we have gone into liquidation on January 1st, 2023.

With this step, we are deliberately ending our regular business operations, we are not insolvent!

Why is that?

Through various internal and external reasons Coolride has not been able to provide us with a reasonable income over the past 12 years.

Some of these reasons are certainly known to everyone: the Covid pandemic, the cease of trade fairs, the chip crisis, price increases and inflation, uncertainties causing the consumer to purchase less , etc.

What does that mean for you?

Huge discounts! Everything must go!

But please note that the end of Coolride limits our liability regarding warranty. Please check our terms of warranty for more information.

What's next?

From January 1st, 2023 there will also be a clearance sale.

We will remain regularly available by phone and email until the end of March, after which emails will only be checked once a day.

Current contact details can be found on coolride.de since our current location will be closed.

Complaints and warranty cases will be processed up to and including December 31, 2023. After that it is finally over and the company will be deleted from the commercial register.

A personal note

Coolride was and is a project close to my heart, which I literally started in the basement of my parents' house.

My mission was to provide a reliable, powerful & high-quality grip heating system so that other (winter) motorcyclists do not have to freeze as miserably as I did in the Lapland winter.

The grip heating systems have developed significantly over the years to the current level or a subsequent generation that is no longer launched on the market. I learned a lot in the technical fields that I entered as a career changer. It fills me with pride and satisfaction that many people are safer and more comfortable on the road thanks to our products. The consistently positive reviews on our website confirm this.

The decision to “close up shop” was a very difficult one for me, but ultimately it was unavoidable. The years of fighting for survival have demanded a lot from my wife and me. I have now reached a point in my life where I have to set new priorities.

One of them is to provide a reliable income to cover the common living expenses. Taking into account the history of the last 12 years of being fully self-employed, Coolride GmbH is not the way to achieve this goal.

I would like to express my thanks for the good and sometimes long-term cooperation.
